Wordwide Accident Cover

This covers damage to your teeth as a result of an accident (extra-oral impact) and undertaken by your own dentist, unless in an emergency, up to a maximum of £10’000 per dental injury.

Worldwide Emergency Cover

When away from home (more than 50 miles from the surgery) plan members are covered by worldwide accident and emergency dental cover. You may be treated by any dentist. You pay the dentist for the emergency treatment, obtain a receipt detailing the treatment undertaken, bring it to the practise where we will process it for you and you will be reimbursed up to the policy limit. The cover is for emergency temporary dental treatment only up to &400.00 per incident to a miximum of &800.00 per policy year.

The cover also includes Hospital Benefit and a lump sum payment for Oral Cancer.

The significant exclusions are: damage caused by eating food stuffs; normal wear and tear, injury whilst participatiing in contact sport unless mouth protection is worn; damage to dentures other than whilst being worn, costs incurred more than 18 months agter the date of the accident; and damage which is not apparent within seven days of injury.
