Routine examination

By far the best way of keeping your mouth and teeth in the best of health is to attend a regular check-up with your dentist. That way you can be screened for early signs of decay, gum disease and mouth cancer.

Our emphasis is pain-free treatment, so we use non-invasive techniques like X-Rays, so that we can look deep into potential problems at an early stage of their development.

Finding problems early makes their treatment easier and less expensive

Routine examinations are nothing to be scared of. It starts with an examination of the teeth and gum by eye. We’ll also look at the soft tissue linings of your mouth to spot any problems that might be lurking there. If we think that there is a possibility of decay deep in the tooth, we’ll tap it gently and this will tell us all we need to know. Then if we suspect there’s decay we’ll need to look further and we’ll use an x-ray.

How often should I go for routine dental check-up?

By attending your check-ups every six to nine months, as suggested by us, we’ll guarantee to keep your teeth and gum healthy. And it will keep costly visits to a minimum.
