Fillings & extractions
It is important that diseased teeth and decayed parts of teeth are not left in the mouth as the effects can spread and cause more damage. We will advise on the most appropriate type of filling from the many materials available, including white fillings so that they don’t stand out against the rest of your teeth. If the entire tooth needs to be removed to protect the overall health of your mouth we will extract it painlessly and advise on the best form of replacement for the missing tooth.
At Olive Dental Care we offer both white tooth coloured fillings and the traditional silver amalgam fillings. The traditional silver fillings are less expensive whereas white fillings besides enhancing the appearance of repaired teeth also bond to the tooth better and greatly improve the strength of teeth. We are also happy to remove your silver fillings and replace them with white, tooth coloured fillings.
Fillins (inlays/onlays)
After decay and old filling material is removed, the individually manufactured ceramic is fitted exactly. Depending on the severity, the whole procedure will last between one and two hours.
